From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Statement of event:

Pilot statement: here is a statement of what occurred on March 7, 2023 at approximately 12:30 pm.

I took off heading to pickens airport. On the down wind side of rw 23 at altitude of about 1700 feet, I lost all electrical power. I decided to head back to rw 23 to land. I dropped my flaps and headed to rw 23. There were 2 other planes in the pattern. So, with no communication, I was watching for the traffic. When I knew I had the field made, I belly landed the plane. I was so conscientious of the other planes, that I forgot to pull the emergency gear extension. There was minimal damage to the plane.
