From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircaft was operating as a 14 c.f.r part 91 repositioning flight having departed from krvs airport. During landing on runway 21L at the Cincinnati municipal/lunken (kluk) airport, the aircraft experienced a failure of the right main landing gear lever hinge fitting during rollout.

As a result of the failure, the aircraft’s right wingtip was dragged along the runway surface which caused the right aileron to sustain significant grinding damage. The aircraft’s right propeller also received damage to all 5 blades from contact with the ground causing the blasde tips to be ground down and/or separate.
