From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 3/20/23 the pilot departed kpvg for a 4 hour flight to kcsg....it was an uneventful flight... Upon reaching the Columbus Airport he was handed off to Columbus tower....they told him to join a left downwind for rwy 6....he followed his normal procedures but left the flaps at 2/3 because it was gusty....he stated he put the gear down and checked it but when he pulled the power to idle he got the gear warning horn and landed gear up.
