From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot stated that he was taxing the aircraft and weaving back and forth for visibility. He then applied the brakes to move back to the left for clearence from a parked aircraft near the taxiway. Too much pressure was applied to the heel brake which caused the tail section to come off the ground. The center of gravity of the aircraft caused it to nose forward at which point the propeler struck the ground. I inspected the aircraft and did not find an significant damage that would elevate this event into an accident.

As the FAA filed it
