From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On may 17, 2023 departure from ktrm. Weather reported, forecast enroute, and arrival to ktcy was VFR. Coming into the airport pilot listened to the AWOS, winds favored runway 30. Pilot made a normal approach to landing. While on final, pilot observed the windsock and confirmed the landing runway. Touchdown was normal, control was maintained, and the aircraft landed safely. On roll out pilot reported the wind shifted. Pilot experienced a gust to the wing which caused it to raise. Action was taken to counter, but the amount needed was not enough and the aircraft ground looped. The aircraft came to a stop just off the runway. The aircraft was then secured followed by exit. No injuries resulted.

Aircraft damage to both wings at tips and near fuselage/spar, both props, sheet metal damage and missing rivets above pilots head area.
