From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The accident flight was an aerial 0BSERVATION company operating under FAA part 91. After completing their night shift, the pilot landed at Kingman Airport at 3:45AM. During the landing rollout the pilot reported that he experienced a flat nose tire. After coming to a stop, the pilot asked the camera operator to step out and see if the tire was flat. The camera operator confirmed the flat tire and made movements around the front of the aircraft to communicate with the pilot while the engine was running. The camera operator was then struck by the propellor resulting in serious injury to his shoulder and back. He was transported for medical attention and is expected to recover.
