From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

According to the pilot, he was taking privacy data omitted for a part 91 personal flight. The pilots intention was to initiate and terminate the flight at the pilots own grass runway. The length of the runway is approximately 1320 feet laid in an approximate north south configuration. The north end of the runway has trees approximately 50 feet tall that come right up to the runway. The south end has an open field with uncut weeds approximately two to three feet tall. While attempting to land, the aircraft touched down just beyond the 1/2 way point of the runway. The pilot was unable to stop the aircraft before reaching the south end and consequently entered the neighboring field where it flipped over and came to rest in an inverted position.
