From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Departed Piper canyon (9WA4) a private gravel strip owned by the pilot for Goldendale Municipal Airport (S20). On landing the aircraft veered to the right, left wing and left wheel came off of the ground. The pilot reported that touchdown was smooth and then it felt like the right wheel locked up. The pilot responded with full opposite aileron and had full aft elevator when he lost control of the aircraft. It went off the runway and nosed over. Both wingtips and the propeller sustained minor damage.
