From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft departed eagle airpark (A09) for Needles Airport (eed). Several miles out the PIC retarded throttle and extended gear. The PIC heard the sound of the gear going down and the red light went out. The PIC also felt the drag of the gear. The PIC flew approach to runway 20 and started his touchdown. The PIC heard a warning but was unsure if it was a gear warning or stall warning as he was task saturated with landing the aircraft. Apon touchdown the PIC heard scraping and started to pull power until the prop made contact with the ground. The PIC retarded throttle and the aircraft came to a stop. Inspection of the aircraft following the incident identified that the landing gear circuit braker had popped and the gear never fully extended and locked down.
