What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The strip was rougher than what the pilot had seen from overfly, there were several larger humps on the strip and decided to touch down between the humps and stop prior to the next hump. Pilot touched down at the selected point and realized the surface was much softer than any of the surfaces that the pilot had landed on previously. The pilot came up on one of the first hump and in an effort to get stopped before that, applied brakes. The plane came over the top of the hump and nosed over before landing on the planes back.
