From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During cruise approximately 1 hour prior to landing, ecam brake sys 2 fault appeared. A successful qrh reset was carried out in accordance with company policy and procedure. Shortly thereafter, ecam brake sys 1 fault and n/w steering fault appeared. Qrh reset was carried out with ineffective result. ATC was notified and aircraft subsequently landed in bda and came to a stop on the runway. Aircraft was towed to the gate where the flight was completed without further incident.

Maintenance inspected the aircraft and carried out a wiring inspection between bscu and the nosewheel feedback sensors with no faults found. The bscu was subsequently removed and replaced with a serviceable unit. Subsequent serviceability tests were carried out with satisfactory result. The aircraft was returned to service.
