From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

As the wheels of the aircraft touched the runway at gpt the pilot decided that he was further right of center than he wanted to be due to a cross wind. The pilot then decided to abort the landing and perform a go around, increasing the throttle to full and applying right rudder. The aircraft immediately cut left crossing the runway and exited into the grass. Shortly after entering the grass the tip of the right wing impacted the ground which also caused the propeller to impact the ground; the impact additionally caused damage to the landing gear.

As the FAA filed it
