From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Departed kvgt for krbg.

Kcxp was a fuel stop. While landing RWY27 at kcxp, aggressive application of left brake and possible ice caused pilot to lose control of aircraft. Aircraft went into a 180-degree skid and skidded off left shoulder of runway 27 which collapsed and damaged the right main landing gear. Pilot and dog on-board with no injuries. Pilot called local flight service station to inform of accident and to put out a NOTAM regarding a disabled plane on the runway.

30-40 Mins after accident, an alleged other aircraft landed and struck the left wing leading edge of the privacy data omitted. This was not reported. A local airport volunteer was assigned to monitoring CTAF and did not receive local radio call return of alleged landing aircraft that struck accident aircraft on shoulder of RWY27 before it was towed off runway.
