What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Aircraft crashed just short of runway 05 onto the ground approximately 40 feet from the runway, slid a short distance (approximately 30 feet), and came to a final rest against a raised area of ground (approximately 7 feet tall raised dirt berm that was left-over from leveling the pilots private runway) approximately 20 feet from the runway 05 edge. Cause of crash was due to both engines stopping at the same time at an approximate altitude of 300 feet AGL and approximately 230 feet distance to the runway. The weather was clear, runway altitude approximately 1040 feet above sea level, air temperature approximately 2C/36F and dew point -13C/9F. The aircraft was on its third flight of the day and had two ground landings and one water landing. 1 pilot and 1 passenger onboard. No injury to the pilot, minor bruising only to the passenger. Aircraft has substantial damage.
