What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
During a 14 CFR part 135 flight from bend, Oregon (bnd) to grangeville, Idaho (gic) with about 30 minutes left of the planned flight at an altitude of 11,000 feet MSL the pilot noted a simultaneous left engine a & b engine control unit (ecu) failure. The pilot in command (PIC) noticed a large amount of oil exiting the left engine crankcase breather tube and requested an emergency landing at the nearest airport. The PIC diverted to and landed at La Grande/Union County Airport (lgd) in La Grande, Oregon. The engine indicated “green” pressure and temperature ranges during the decent and landing so the engine was not shut down in flight. The decent and landing were completed without further incident. No injuries and no aircraft damage beyond the engine.
