From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. On Monday, April 15, 2024, at about 1230 EST, a 1956 Beech BE35 was damaged when it made a gear-up landing at Statesville Regional Airport (svh) in Statesville, NC.

Pilot stated he performed a pre-landing checklist and beleived the aircraft was set up for the approach and landing. His first indicatication of a gear issue was when he noticed the propeller contacting the runway. Post event activities included an operational check of the landing gear system. When power was applied and the circuit breaker was pushed in, the gear operated normal.
