What happened

During climb out at approximately 500AGL engine oil pressure started going down and briefly fluctuated between 20 to 25 PSI and the “eng 1 check oil” amber cas came on and went off. A few seconds later the red cas “eng 1 oil press” came on. The ecl was followed and engine 1 was shut down. Approach and landing with one engine inop, landing was accomplished without further incident.

Rental engine pn 30C3205-02 sn PCE-CF0073 was installed

DURING CLIMB OUT AT APPROXIMATELY 500AGL ENGINE OIL PRESSURE STARTED GOING DOWN AND BRIEFLY FLUCTUATED BETWEEN 20 TO 25 PSI AND THE “ENG 1 CHECK OIL” AMBER CAS CAME ON AND WENT OFF. A FEW SECONDS LATER THE RED CAS “ENG 1 OIL PRESS” CAME ON. THE ECL WAS FOLLOWED AND ENGINE 1 WAS SHUT DOWN. APPROACH AND LANDING WITH ONE ENGINE INOP, LANDING WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

THE ENGINE PN 30C3205-02 SN PCE0019 WAS REMOVED,
RENTAL ENGINE PN 30C3205-02 SN PCE-CF0073 WAS INSTALLED
