From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot stated that he is in the burn unit at uc davis medical center. He doesn't know when he will be released. He stated that he departed at an unknown time and performed an aerial application flight. He attempted to land on a runway that he hadn't landed on for a long time. He landed long and was running out of runway length. He attempted to perform a go-around and applied power. The dirt was soft and he wasn't accelerating as much as he would have anticipated. The airplane was about 3-4 ft AGL and collided with trees at the end of the dirt strip.

The pilot stated that there were no pre impact mechanical malfunctions or failures with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
