From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was planning a touch and go. The pilot reported that he stated to his passengers, "three down and locked" and the pilot thought he felt the drag of the landing gear extension. Approaching the landing flare the pilot felt a bit high and fast. The pilot did not hear the gear warning horn and felt closer to the ground than normal. As the pilot prepared to add full power for a go around, the propeller and then the aircraft struck the ground and came to a stop on the runway.
