From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Acft was practicing private pilot maneuvers, starting with 'turns around a point' at 1100 feet near the lighthouse. After a few turns, acft turned east and began a climb to 2000 feet. Before climbing, fuel tank was switched from left to right. During the climb, around 1400 feet, the engine did not produce enough power, and the propellers were slowing. Attempted engine restart was unsuccessful. Fuel tanks were switched from right to left, toggled the magnetos left and right, adjusted the mixture, and used carb heat. Engine instruments showed green, electric fuel pump was on. Around 1000 feet ATC was contacted to declare an emergency. Landed on beach no injuries
