From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Interview of the pilot:

At approximately 1130 EDT, 25 June 2024, the PIC landed aircraft, swift GC-1B privacy data omitted, on runway 31 at kffc, Falcon field ga. He confirmed positive gear down indications on downwind and on short final approach. Shortly after touchdown, the aircraft began an uncontrollable "swerve" to the right. The right wingtip impacted the runway surface as the aircraft departed the runway and finally stopped in a grassy area with the right main landing gear collasped. The PIC was uninjured. Upon further examination of the aircraft, both landing gear down lock structs on the right main gear assembly had broken. The aircraft was secured and removed from the runway area.
