From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On July 1st 2024, PIC departed 2IS (airglades) direct to X51 (Homestead general) to avoid storms as the original plan was to fly to the Bahamas. PIC was using flight following. Conditions were reporting VFR. PIC crossed midfield and entered left downwind for 18. It started raining during the approach and landing. PIC stated they landed hard. Rain complicated the landing (distorting pilot's visual cues) and made the pavement slippery. PIC taxied to the ramp and parked. During the post flight, the PIC noticed the prop strike.
