From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated he was at flaps approach and landing gear down prior to starting down on a straight in visual approach to rw 25. He couldn't get the airplane to slow down enough to bring in final flaps until very short final. He stated he touched down fast and got on the breaks hard. Upon slowing he heard/felt the sound of what he assumed was a flat tire so he stopped on the runway, got out and confirmed both main tires were flat.

As the FAA filed it
