What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The pilot and a passenger were practicing landings in the recently acquired aircraft. After several successful landings, the pilot made a touchdown on the FAR right side of the runway. The aircraft began to porpoise and the pilot attempted a go-around. A stall caused the aircraft to depart positive control. The misaligned touchdown and crosswind carried the aircraft ~300' southwest of the runway, where it came to rest in a farmer's field adjacent to the airport property.
