From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot indicated he took off from kosu, clear skies, normal flight, performed RNAV approach with permission to do a stop and go approach on runway 32, completed descent and before landing checklists. Landing gear indication showed 3 green lights indicating the gear was down and locked. With flaps fully extended for the stop and go, as he touched down the right wing started to dip, after a smooth landing he heard the gear horn and realized the right gear was collapsing, he pulled right throttle to idle and cutoff the fuel, aircraft veered right off the runway towards the grass. Pilot steered towards the grass where the aircraft came to a halt with the right gear collapsed. Post accident inspection revealed the attach fitting on the upper trunner broke, the bellcrank pivot bolt sheared and the attach point on the lower bellcrank haad broken. Aircraft had a total of 48 minutes flight time after annual was performed where significant gear work was performed along with rigging the gear.
