From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 01/16/2025 at approximately 1906 local time a Beechcraft N35 bearing registration privacy data omitted was substantially damaged during a forced landing while on final approach to runway 22 at the Hale County Airport. Aircraft came to rest upright on an approximate heading of 261 degrees. During the rollout the nose gear and right main gear collapsed after contacting a street curb. Two persons were on board the aircraft which was registered to a private corporation. The private rated pilot and one passenger were uninjured. Weather at the time of the event was reporting VFR conditions with winds from the southwest. The pilot in command reported that on final approach a forward slip was conducted and when throttle was increased to compensate for slowing airspeed there was no engine response resulting in a forced off airfield landing.
