From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft departed crq enroute to axh. Aircraft landed at destination airport on or about 22:55 hrs local time without landing gear extended, touching down approximately 1000 ft from approach end. Aircraft slid about 860 feet before coming to a full stop on the right side of the runway just before the grass line. privacy data omitted/Pilot, and sole occupant reported no injuries. Damage to aircraft appears to be isolated to propeller, belly mounted antennas, and keel area.

Pilot stated he worked all day and then departed his home airport late afternoon for a cross-country flight. When he arrived at his destination airport, he was somewhat fatigued. He did not request RNAV which he beleived he should have, so he came into axh airspace a little fast and high. "Approach asked me what approach I wanted to use and I chose visual runway 27." He spoke to ATC and called left base, and his workload increased, trying to reduce altitude to enter approach. "I found the runway on a second attempt, and cancelled flight services...". Pilot failed to complete before landing checklist and landed with gear selected up. The gear warning system displays a "check gear" cas message on the MFD with an audible double chime and "check gear" voice message which does not repeat. There are five locations in the cockpit which display the gear position. On page 4-19 of the Epic E-1000 AFM, the normal "before landing" checklist requests the pilot to check "landing gear...down" on item #8. This item was not verified on landing. Upon recovery of aircraft, the gear was extended and gear indication was normal.

As the FAA filed it

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^/PILOT, AND SOLE OCCUPANT REPORTED NO INJURIES.
