From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On February 13, 2025 at ~1050 MST, the PIC of privacy data omitted loaded onto the aircraft outside of a recently built hanger the PIC owned. Shortly after lifting off, a window fell from the hanger into the rotating blades resulting in a loss of lift. The aircraft fell several feet causing the right skid to collapse on impact. The impact of the window caused substantial damage to the rotorcraft blade. The aircraft was operating in too close of proximity to the structure.
