From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 2/17/2025 around 1145, a Cirrus SR-22 experienced a nose gear collapse on roll out/ground loop after landing. The pilot touched down on the main gear between the runway markers and encountered a slight bounce and settled on the ground. When the nose gear touched down the aircraft shook and the pilot entered aft control to offset the nose shake. When the groundspeed reduced, aft control was relaxed and the nose gear broke away. The nose of the aircraft dropped resulting in a propeller strike. No injuries. Minor damage to nose gear and propeller. Malfunction or defect report completed 2025FA0000150. Known issue with several service bulletins associated. Sa 19-02: nose landing gear shimmy notification and reduction and SB2X-32-26R1: nose landing gear strut assembly inspection.
