From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft just had a left engine change and required an etops in-flight verification. Enroute, it was noticed that the left engine oil quantity was at 11 and the right was at 16 and continued to drop. Maintenance recommended the flight land immediately. Maintenance assessed the issue and determined the leak originated from the engine oil lube pump. There was some damage found to the area where the pump mates to the gear box. A qdr has been raised by acm to determine corrective actions to be taken with the vendor of the engine. The aircraft lube pump was replaced and the aircraft is back in service.
