From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft, privacy data omitted, landing at whitman (whp) airport on runway 12, touched down on the RH main gear with smoke coming from the tire, the aircraft bounced, again touching down on the RH main gear with smoke from the tire followed by the LH main gear touching down with no smoke from the tire. The aircraft veered to the right and the aircraft flipped forward landing on its back, off the righthand side of the runway. Both main wheels spun freely during post incident inspection. The RH main landing gear tire has two flat spots on the tread.
