From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

This office was called by the regional operations command on 03/01/2025 around 12:06 pm confirming that an aircraft was on the runway with the gear up at Lawton ft. Sill regional airport (klaw) around 11:30AM. The aircraft was landing runway 35 for a touch and go when the gear collapsed due to the pilot inadvertently hitting the gear up lever causing the aircraft to hit the ground, striking the propeller and left-wing tip and skidded off to the right of the runway where it came to a stop. The aircraft was removed from the runway and taken to the airport community hangars where it set until inspected on 03/3/2025 by the pilot's mechanic where it was determined that the aircraft was not substatially damaged.
