From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On March 9, 2025, at approximately 1600 PDT, subject aircraft landed at klas with no passengers onboard. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time. The aircraft was being marshaled to parking, on the privacy data omittedramp, from taxiway "h", when it was directed to travel in a northeastern trajectory behind a row of parked aircraft and then to make a 180-degree turn, to park in a southwestern direction in front of the building. While turning left to make the 180-degree turn, the right-hand horizontal stabilizer of the aircraft struck the left-hand elevator of a parked 757. There was no marshaller at the wing tips nor tail of the aircraft at the time of impact. The driver of the escort vehicle had exited the vehicle and had run behind the aircraft but did not stop the crew from impacting the other aircraft.

The aircraft sustained substantial damage to the tail section. The right-hand outboard section of the horizontal stabilizer leading edge suffered impact damage, and the aft half of the vertical stabilizer twisted.

The parked aircraft suffered damage to the left-hand elevator.
