From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted Was on a visual approach to Grenada Municipal Airport (gnf) runway 13 with four souls on board. After landing on runway center, the aircraft experienced a sudden crosswind causing the aircraft to lift suddenly to approximately 5' off the ground and then slam down hard on the runway followed by another sudden lift of 3' and then slamming back down again at an angle breaking the nose gear structure and flattening the right MLG tire as well. The aircraft proceeded to skid on its belly from runway centerline approximately 200 yards before coming to a rest in a grassy area adjacent to the runway. The aircraft sustained substantial damage to the engines, fuselage structure, and propellers due to propeller strikes. Two passengers sustained minor injuries. Both discharged from hospital to home on same day.
