From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was tied down on signature south ramp and was in the rear row of two. The pilot noted space to taxi was tight and asked line service for assistance. An attendant came out to assist the pilot in clearing the parked aircraft. As the aircraft was taxing out of parking, the left wing made contact with the rudder of a parked aircraft on the first row. The pilot taxied to the FBO and shut down. The pilot examined aircraft for damage and noted no damage to their aircraft except for some yellow paint scuff on the wing edge. The pilot then spoke to employee at the FBO desk and confirmed they had their contact information. The pilot then departed the airfield enroute to final destination.
