From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The PIC had not flown a tail dragger airplande prior to purchasing this aircraft just weeks before. The pilot completed 21 hours total, in this aircraft, between training, taildragger endorsement and the ferry flight home, four day prior.

This was the first pattern and landing of the day for this pilot sense returning home wth the newly aquired taildragger aircraft. The pilot now flying without a CFI or passanger on board, after landing, on the roll out, allowed the aircraft to be too nose down, allowing the prop strike the runway. After the prop strike the pilot exited active runway onto the crossing runway where the aircraft was moved to an FBO.
