What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Winds at the time were approximately 200–230° at 8–10 knots. The latest ATIS, information juliet, reported winds from 230° at 8 knots. While landing on runway 28R at kmyf, airman reported he maintained a stabilized approach on centerline with full flaps and reduced throttle to idle. He touched down in a 3-point attitude at stall speed. During rollout and applied incorrect crosswind inputs (right crosswind correction), which allowed the wind to lift the left wing. The aircraft weathervaned into the wind and entered a ground loop to the left, resulting in the right wingtip contacting the ground. The aircraft came to rest left of centerline.
