From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airman was performing a touch and go landing on runway 13. The most current METAR showed that the winds were 12009G16KT. He stated that he was approaching the runway at 80MPH and the aircraft began to fall out from underneath him and he neglected to add power to arrest the rate of descent. The aircraft impacted about 20-30 feet short of runway 13 and continued until it departed the right side of the runway approximately 400 feet from the threshold. The right main gear collapsed during the event and there was impact damage noted to the right wing spar.
