From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While practicing touch and gos at Rock Hill airport, the traffic pattern became increasingly busy. While there was a slower aircraft ahead of privacy data omitted, as well as another aircraft behind privacy data omittedthat entered the traffic pattern on the downwind. The pilot began their "gumps" checklist and extended the flaps. The pilot stated they were concerned about staying clear of the class b airspace 2 NM north of the field as well as maintaining separation from the other aircraft in the pattern. When the aircraft ahead of privacy data omitted announced they would be a full-stop landing, the pilot of privacy data omitted became focused on spacing between the two airplanes. As a result of this fixation, the pilot of privacy data omittedfailed to complete the remainder of the "gumps" checklist and landed with the gear retracted.
