From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The privacy data omittedpilot planned and filed a flight plan to go from lompoc to Santa Barbara. The flight was completed without incident. The pilot stated that he felt rushed to clear the active runway, however because of the excessive wingspan (88 ft, runway is 75 ft wide) while making a left turn onto taxi way "b" he did not maintain his turn radius by staying on the marked radius center-line for taxi way "b" (cut the corner) and hit the taxi way "b" sign. This cause server damage to the left leading edge to the wing, about 5 ft in from the wing tip.
