From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Prior to landing a rain shower had passed over the runway and left the surface of runway 01 with wet conditions. Airman landed a Cessna 208 on runway 01L at the Bethel Airport in Alaska. The airman landed at delta and planned on exiting the runway at taxiway bravo. Upon reaching bravo the airplane still had forward momentum and proceeded off the main runway into the gravel over run section. The airman shutdown the engine when he realized he was not going to stop on the runway. He tried to avoid hitting the runway lighting system. However, the propeller struck a taxi light and caused minor damage.
