From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilots stated he wheel landed the aircraft and may have been traveling a “little fast”. He believed he encountered a wind gust and the aircraft veered to the left. He subsequently lost control of the aircraft. The visible skid marks on the runway indicate the aircraft was skidding on the right main wheel with the left main making a significancy smaller skid mark. The right main gear collapsed when it reached the edge of the runway and caught the grass. The right wing struck the ground and sustained spar damage. There is evidence the propeller struck the ground as the aircraft came to rest along the left side of runway 14. Fuel began to leak from the aircraft at a relatively high rate and saturated the ground in the vicinity of the leak.

As the FAA filed it
