From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Arrived at the airport at approx 12:30PM. The plan was to do (3) landings and takeoffs with the instructor and if those were executed properly and we felt comfortable I was going to do (3) take offs and landings solo. We did the (3) landings together without any issue or concern, I was able to execute the first two solo without issue. On the third setup I sent up a normal approach and followed the glide path down. Crossed the threshold @ around 82-84KNOTS with full flaps until I got over the numbers I went power idle. The plane began to float as normally would and I started getting pushed to the left side of the runway, tried to correct with the rudder and I couldn't maintain the center line and felt it would be best to go around. I induced full power, pulled up on the side stick and the plane shot to the left and struck the field on the left side.
