From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 08/22/2025 the PIC of privacy data omitted flew to apa for an air demonstration the following day. Upon landing the PIC noted that the aircraft started to pull to the left. The PIC attempted to correct this by applying right rudder and the aircraft didn't respond. The PIC then added right brake and no response. PIC added right aileron input to increase drag and still no response. The aircraft finished the left turn and the PIC was unable to control the aircraft and ground looped on the south side of runway 28. The aircraft came to rest on the engine propeller and right wings. The aircraft sustained substantial damage to the right upper and lower wings. Photos provided by the PIC show that upon landing the tailwheel did become uncastered which would've contributed to the difficulty of controlling the aircraft. Pilot was also informally counseled about good tailwheel procedures.
