From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

As per pilot he aborted first approach to mtp because he was off center, too high and too fast. Pilot executed a go-around and made a second attempt. On his second attempt pilot was still high and fast then landed long (passed 1000 foot marker). Pilot lost control of the aircraft. Aircraft bounced and skidded off the runway into the tall brush on the right side and near the end of rwy 6. It was determined through the investigation the attempted landing was approximately 6 knots downwind.
