From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 08-27-2025 a Beechcraft BE-35-P35 inbound to ksbd diverted to krei when the pilot claimed to have experienced a complete electrical system failure. The pilot stated that he placed the landing gear lever in the down position, and the flap handle in a landing setting prior to final approach, but did not complete emergency checklists for electrical system malfunction or landing gear malfunction. The airplane landed gear-up on runway 26 at the Redlands, CA (krei) airport. The aircraft touched down and drifted right of the centerline and eventually came to rest slightly off the runway, contacting one runway edge light. The pilot (sole occupant) appeared to be uninjured and the aircraft sustained damage to its propeller, flaps, and undercarrige. Examination of the fuel tanks indicated adequate remaining fuel quantity for operation.
