From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

One of the three blades broke off at the root and damaged the other two. The pilot was taxiing westbound into the ramp area on a when the PIC noticed that it was blocked with aircraft. The PIC made a 180 degree turn and proceeded toward the A4 intersection to gain access to the airport parking area. While on A4 and just prior to the ramp area the pilot noticed a person wearing a safety vest waving a flag in the air. The pilot did not understand the non-standard communication and thought that he was signaling him to follow.
