What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The pilot reported this incident to the FAA after it occurred. At 8:33 pm local time, the pilot landed at Reid-Hillview airport on runway 31R. He rolled out and began his right turn to taxiway Y3 about 30 feet too early for the recently reconfigured markings and lighting. His prop tip impacted the taxiway light closest to the runway. Green paint on grey asphalt without a white or yellow border now designates the paved area as one that should not be entered. The pilot makes the case, using aim 2-3-2.b, 2-3-3 and ac 150/5340-1M that the lack of runway edge marking where it is adjacent to the new green-painted areas contributed to this incident and will continue to not guide arriving traffic on runway 31R.
