From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC reported that while landing privacy data omitted on runway 15 at kase, his aircraft encountered a downdraft. Intially there was slight gain in airspeed, then a loss of approximately 6 knots, which caused the stick shaker system to activate while approaching runway 15 threshold. The PIC said he heard a thump and then touched down approximately 300 feet from the threshold of the runway. After taxiing to the parking ramp, the right main tire deflated and dismounted from the rim as the aircraft was parked. Evidence confirmed that during landing, the right MLG tire hit a threshold light. Additioanlly, a second threshold light to the left of the was also damaged; what caused the damage is unclear.
