From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Extra Flugzeugproduktions ea 300/L, loss of directional control on landing rollout. 2 uninjured, minor damage. Flight control continuity ok. Pilot stated the following: upon engine start, I noticed the right brake was soft which made the aircraft begin to spin slowly to the left. I shut down the engine to troubleshoot. After pumping the brakes, pressure appeared to be restored and I restarted the engine. I conducted a taxi test followed by a run up and braking appeared to be adequate for flight. My approach and wheel landing on 12L was stable. As I slowed down and lowered the tailwheel (around 40 knots), I applied light braking pressure. It quickly became evident that the left brake had more pressure than the right brake. As the aircraft slowed and I lost rudder authority, there

Was inadequate right brake pressure to prevent the aircraft from ground looping to the left. I attempted to pump the right brake to build pressure, but there was insufficient time before I lost directional control and exited the left side of the runway.
